Peony Of Luoyang
“THE EMBODIMENT OF BEAUTY”
Description
Notes
Roja's musing
One of the world's most beloved flowers, the beauty of the Peony comes alive in an opulent home fragrance that transforms any room into a fragrant flower garden. The sweet freshness of the Peony candle is pushed forward by bright notes of Lemon, Bergamot, Grapefruit, and Rosemary, whilst Lily of the Valley, Freesia, Rose, and Orange Blossom enhance its floral elegance. A sensual touch of Ylang Ylang lends a creamy sensation which is cut through with an invigorating inclusion of Rhubarb. The whole becomes rooted into manicured flowerbeds by a note of Cut Grass and Wood notes, as a whisper of Clove brings to life the unusual warmth naturally found in the heart of the flower, itself.

Roja's musing
“Revered throughout Chinese culture as the epitome of opulence, the Peony represents beauty and good fortune. Each year from mid-April to mid-May, visitors flock to the grounds of Luoyang to witness the spectacle that is the annual Peony Festival. As far as the eye can see, verdant thickets are punctuated with voluptuous blooms in a prism of vibrant colours, which nestle like precious jewels set amongst the lush green leaves. Exclamations of admiration fade into the melodic hum of folk singers performing in the gardens - to see these flowers is a joy – to scent the home with them is a delight.” - ROJA DOVE.
